Egg White Face Mask for Normal Skin

Egg white face mask for KFC lovers 🙂

Is it just me or is the world going crazy for cornstarch these days? I am not just talking about using it in an egg white face mask but people seem to be using it for all sorts of beauty regimes. I have come across quite a number of blogs where cornstarch was being used to mattify a lipstick or being used as a bronzer or even being used as a dry shampoo!

I can understand it being used as an exfoliator or even to treat oily skin as it is a good absorbent and helps to unclog pores but the rest of the stuff is a bit crazy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Egg White
  • 2 Teaspoons of Corn Starch
  • Bowl

Preparation

Crack the egg and separate the egg white from the yolk.  Place the egg white into the bowl add 2 teaspoons of corn starch.

Mix the two ingredients and apply the lather onto the face. Normally I would not recommend using a blender unless you are being lazy but for this mixture it is probably best to use one for the best results. Amazon have a great offer on the Bella Hand Held Blender so do have a look.

One the two ingredients have been blended thoroughly, using your fingers apply the mixture to your face. As always make sure that your fingers are clean and that you have prepped your face before applying this homemade face mask. I would recommend leaving this on for about 15 – 20 minutes and applying it at least 2 – 3 times a week for a smooth and toned skin.
