Had enough of the oatmeal face mask yet 😉
This will be my third homemade recipe for creating an oatmeal face mask which should give you an indication of how effective this stuff really is. For those in need of a refresher course, click HERE to have a look at the other two diy face masks that have been made using oats. DIY remedy #13 even lists all the benefits the oatmeal face mask has to offer when applied to your skin. So trust me when I say this, this is one diy face mask you need to make NOW.
Cook 1/2 serving of oatmeal and allow it to cool down. You can start using it when it is slightly warm but never when it is piping hot!
Next, take a bowl and crack the egg over it , carefully placing the egg white in the bowl. (we don’t need the yolk for this oatmeal face mask). Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice into that mix along with 1/2 portion of a mashed apple.
I will leave it to your imagination on how the apple needs to be mashed (just don’t break the wine bottle over it!)
Using a spoon, mix all the ingredients well ensuring that there are no clumps at the end. Your oatmeal face mask is ready once you have achieved a smooth level of consistency with the mixture. Apply it to your face leaving it on for 15 minutes and then washing it off with cool water.
